The Organization:

The North Carolina Association of Personal and Business Coaches (NCAPBC) is a non-profit organization designed to promote the coaching profession and foster the development of personal and business coaches in North Carolina. It is based in the Research Triangle (RTP) area of North Carolina -- Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Cary, and other towns in the middle of the state.

Monthly programs focus on skills and strategies for enhancing professional service delivery. Association members provide professional coaching services to both individuals and groups in the business arena and in private settings.

NCAPBC is also the RTP charter chapter of the International Coach Federation (ICF).

Membership:

There is a $50 membership fee for anyone interested in joining NCAPBC.

The benefits of membership include the following:

  1. A $5 discount on monthly luncheon programs. If you attend a minimum of 10 programs a year you save the cost of your annual membership dues.
  2. Distinctive listing and referral of coaches (find a coach) for prospective clients.
  3. The opportunity to collect Continuing Education Units (CEUS) to be used towards coaching certificaiton.
  4. Individualized web page identifying coaching specialties and business information.
  5. Inclusion as part of the coaching community with links to ICF.
  6. Posting of information on the web site related to community service projects or activities.
  7. Valuable coaching resources and tools.
